Backpack - Chapter 1/2
This game quite unfinished, more of a sketch of the "real thing" - a first story beat if you will. The inventory idea has been in my head for while, so expect further work on it, on this game or another.
A cute point&click survival adventure
The beacon keepers need deliveries, and you're it. Travel the post-collapse area between your courier headquarters and the beacon tower, and try your best to gather everything needed.
Careful though: the items in your backpack keep doing their thing, they don't rest just because they're in a backpack now. Ropes will tangle, bottles break, stones will crush items you put below them. Sort with intent and use the right tools to get what you need. Don't fret if your hopelessly tangled rope has more nails than hemp in it: There are often several ways to get to the goal.
Make it to your final destination without letting everything in your bag go haywire!
On offer:
- a "working" backpack in which items interact
- a... helpful, not at all sarcastic robot (?) guide
- slightly more than one ending
- a short adorable narrative, in a post-collapse world inspired by Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts

UMM, IS THERE MENT TO BE SOMETHING TO DO IN THE FIRST AREA? TIRED GOING RIGHT TO THE END WHERE THE SIGN IS AND I CHARACTER JUST KEEPS WALKING OF SCREEN
That is a bug, sorry - I didn't see that one happen or I would've fixed it. You should be able to pick up some items.

Items need to be clicked. I can see about providing a downloadable version if the jam rules allow me to.
yeah, collected two items and went right again and its the same thing
There is now a WIN version - I did not test it, hopefully it works better for you. If not, can you provide a little about yout setup - browser, OS, resolution, to help find out what's wrong?
