This system is currently untested. I would love to hear your thoughts on it, and how it held up at your gaming table!

This small generic system allows you to collaboratively create home-base type adventures in any setting. A GM is optional. It is suited for as many players as want to. This system allows you to build dungeon-type scenarios

• that have a number of exits/entries
• where the outside has a danger that can come in
• where rooms can be revisited

Examples: a mall during the zombie apocalypse, where zombies can pour in; a magical dungeon with various entrances, where enemies can follow you; a spaceship with airlocks, where vacuum can compromise the ship; the inside of a titanic monster or mech, and many more.

To play, you need:

2 decks of poker cards with Jokers, with different backs

A table with some room

At least eleven dice - any kind will do, the adventure gets longer and is less predictable, the more sides they have. Extra points if they are differently coloured.

Something to write with

If pressure is okay, use a timer; if not, use dice to count turns.

An interesting system that has an interesting variety of ways you can take it with a group of players, and I think as a solo effort as well. The possibilities are apparent, and it's an intriguing alternative to the Carta-system. Give it a read!

I had a look - I came across Carta and I like those boardgame/RPG hybrids a lot. The only real drawback of RPGing is a need for groups. And yes, Closed Mondys can totally be played solo - I should add a set of optional solo rules!
