Become a famous archaeologist by digging out the best possible museal skeletons of beloved dinos. 

Description

On the digsite, your job is to find as many of the bones as possible, for them to be as intact as possible, and hopefully do it all before nightfall when the bulldozers arrive, to flatten the whole wealth of archaeological finds.

Bask in the glory of your success at the audience response in the museum afterwards!

Tutorial and Controls

Welcome to the digsite! Hidden under all this dirt is a beautiful dinosaur skeleton. Your job is to find the best bones, and dig them out for display at the museum.

The hammer is your main tool. Just hit the ground to remove the covering stone and find the bones. But be careful! Hit too hard, and you may damage the bones.

The hammer has a blunt side and a pointy side. You switch between them by pressing the right mouse button (RMB). Use them by pressing the left mouse button (LMB), and hold LMB for winding up your blow.

The blunt side removes a large mass of stone.
The pointy side is good for breaking hard stone.

To soften up even larger areas of rock, use the sledge hammer. To activate the sledge hammer, hold RMB, then release.

If you find a bone, follow its outline to uncover it completely. Then put it in the crate for transport.

The Ground Penetration Radar map helps you find the bones. It also indicates where the rock is harder.

If you find bones that are already shattered, leave them for the conservators. Concentrate on the big, intact bones!

Your audience in the museum will be most impressed by a complete and intact skeleton! But slightly cracked bones are still good.

To enter the second level, press ESC and choose "finish level" from main menu.
