Flamboyance is a rules-lite, silly micro RPG system with live-action conflict solution. It is meant to be played fast and loose: action and speed reign supreme. The group should be lenient towards cinematic action and description, and make generous use of clichéd and tropey depictions.
The world is full of swashbucklers, pirates, people-at-arms, cloaked adventurers with daggers, and Scarlet somethings, and you are up there with the best of them! With the rise of fast global transports, but no decline in honour duels, you are confronted regularly to fight to prove your good manners.
In Flamboyance, all players are swashbucklers, all adventures are heists, and all duels are resolved by Red Hands slapping games.
If you need to get some movement into your session, get slappin'!
• Easy 2d6 system for task resolution. The real meat is in the duels.
• Choose your fighting style: are you a master of masked Mexican duelling? A deadly Irish dancer? Can you fight even blindfolded?
• Swash that buckle: define your gesture of approval. Do you swoosh your coat approvingly? Tip your plumed hat? Do you bow and recite ancient epics?

I'm so glad you think so! It's so hard to describe kids' games everybody knows but nobdoy really has a name for. Red Hands makes sense, but I play it differently than Wikipedia describes that, for example.

It was a really enjoyable read! :)
I have been banned at home for playing unless I cut my nails. Little whiners. I have been given permission to wear gloves though. I am also considering creating an adventure for Flamboyance for the Adventures for One-Page RPGs jam, if time permits.
I hope time is kind to you! It will be a worthwhile read.
This Jam is truly tempting, and your mentioning it has really got me thinking. I'll definitely keep an eye on what people design
