Rain
A downloadable zine
A collage zine with a rant on 24 pages.
And then it rains. And what do people say? "Awww no - it's raining! My life is over. I can't go out. I can't look outside. I cannot live like this! Precipitation is a deal-breaker!"
I am, and have been for a long time, so, so sick of this. Rain is okay. It's really fine if it rains occasionally. And it only rains occasionally. Have you people heard of skin cancer? Heatstroke? Are there not civilised regions in the world where, every year, the whole thing is on fire, for weeks - and you shrug and say "but at least it's not raining"? Are you for real?

It's not the weather. It's the clothing. Wear the correct clothing to suit the weather and you can enjoy any day!
Haha, that's actually a northern saying as well - "there is no bad weather, only bad clothing". But beyond the human's core temperature, we simply cannot cool anymore. I get that some parts have torrential rain and months of clear skies, instead of manageable drizzle half the time, but they too need to see the benefitsin having water.
OOh, what an interesting zine. I really like the cover that looks like it's raining letters!!
Thanks. I spent an afternoon on the couch plundering my cutout letters for spelling rain on every page twice. I got dizzy from breathing shallow enough to not move anything ;) I do love cutout letters. That alone was worth taking up zinemaking for.
