Saving Crawlies - A Decker Zine
There is no need to kill everything that scuttles in your home. There are more friendly ways to treat your fellow creatures - even if they are creepy, icky, eaty, and poopy, you can still let them live. Anything that currently is alive should be allowed to remain so.
So grab a jar and catch that critter! Run a highscore in the house who saves the most! Who is the first to get to a million?

Awesome zine!
Thanks a lot! First time I used Decker as a tool. It's pretty good for this use.
This is such a lovely zine! First off, I really love the actual visual layout- the images you used, the little drawings, and how all the text is laid out is very eyecatching and aesthetically pleasing ^^
Second, I really just enjoyed the content and message. As someone who has been fond of bugs since childhood, but still had some hurdles to get over growing up in terms of being comfortable with them in my space or touching them, it's always nice seeing other people's experiences with realizing the little lives of bugs are still lives, and that they don't deserve to die just because they took a wrong turn and wound up in your house.
Lovely contribution to the jam- thank you so much for taking part!! <3
It feels so much better to catch and release them. Plus it's easy to gamify. "I caught three woodlice today" - "Okay, but I got the big fast spider the other day!" :D
Thanks for taking the time, I'm happy you like it!
