Sunday
A downloadable book
When you start out as a freelancer, one of the most important things to remember is to take breaks. When you are responsible for everything, it's easy to work all the time. But you can't. You'll hurt yourself. You really do need those days off. Even if clients tell you "jobs are on the line! It must be done til Monday!" and you skip date night and crunch it - only to find out nobody opened your email until Wednesday. Set a date on which you are unreachable for anything but life or death decisions.
To me, I started with weekends off. No emails or responses until Monday. Which worked, but only kind of, because I had many clients who were indie creators. Many, if not most, have day jobs, to pay bills until hopefully their creative job carries them. That, of course, means their week is full, and they get to create on weekends. Including Sundays. So I got most of my client emails Sundays. They sat there, grinning about my growing my workload. And I would need to wait another week for an answer myself if anything came up, unless I asked on Sundays.
Eventually I used my freedom of structuring my week however I want, and took Mondays off instead. Problem mostly solved!
Created from scraps collected for ages - greeting cards, architecture books, instructions. The Snork maiden is from a brochure about a Moomin exhibit. Then I enthusiastically cut it for the folding, but should've aimed better... but it still folds very well.
