You know this scene. They could help themselves, but they refuse to. You offer a solution - they don't want it.

This tiny visual novel is part rant about the world's ample amount of stupidity, and part tryout of a new engine, using Ren'Py for the first time.

My entry for the Week Sauce jam in Dec 2024, with the theme: "Wait, are we the bad guys?"
