An addition to any game featuring the supernatural (and why not make it a poorly understood device in others).

Having extreme powers and loot available for players is fun and always welcome. Sometimes it seems too much, even dangerous to the campaign (not to mention to the characters, and the game world). This solution is to make them one-time use only, offering all the rewards of awesome power while making it manageable for the game.

This bookmark RPG offers a mesmerizing flower as the carrier of godlike powers. GMs may 

• assign any difficulty to finding such a flower – from simply adding it to higher level loot tables, to random encounters
•  limit their availability to only ever one in the game world, so players have to use it before they can ever find another
• make it wilt eventually so players must use them to reap the benefits
•  or any other limitation if just throwing it in there feels too easy. 

The group is encouraged to interpret the powers table freely.

I cannot deny the influence of the Alveranie flower in The Dark Eye on this micro game.
