Synaesthesia is a fascinating subject. People hear colours or smell sound – what used to be only a dumb junkie joke turns out to be an interesting mechanic in our brains, to have several senses activated at once. Ticker tape is one form of it, which, as most, you don't know about until people tell you that indeed not everyone works like you do. We estimate 6% of the total population being synaesthetes.
