Once you made it to the final dungeon room, defeat the boss, and plunder its lair - you will find many unexpected things. Like this one.
This isn't meant to add moral ambiguity to final bosses. They need to go. But maybe another's hoard is found, long adandoned by a once mighty but now deceased scourge. The ruins and wrecks littering once settled lands and seas. What did it once mean to its owner? Why, among all the precious jewels and gilded trinkets, did this one still hold a special place? Abandon? Forgetfulness? Nostalgia?
